Clayko Group Secures Government ICT Agreement

April 14, 2010

Clayko Group is pleased to announce it has been accepted to provide IT services to West Australian Government under the new Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services Common Use Agreement (CUA) 14008.

This formal acceptance is important, to enable us to comply with the mandate that all West Australian government buyers in the metropolitan region procure IT services through companies who have attained the ICT Services CUA.  It replaces the SPIRIT procurement system for which Clayko was also a supplier.

“The new ICT Services CUA greatly simplifies the Government procurement system and provides greater freedom for Government to choose the services of trusted and reputable companies, such as Clayko Group, without having to negotiate the complex SPIRIT framework” explains Clayko Group Sales Manager, Clayton Dorrington.

Under the agreement, Clayko Group can supply ICT Project Management Services and Business Solutions Services.  Mr Dorrington explains, “Our agreement allows Government to take advantage of our full range of services and software including scanning, hosting and delivery of other Microsoft solutions.”

“The CUA also means Government can choose to deal with reputable suppliers on the CUA rather than forced to use the cheapest quote “.

The ICT Services CUA 14008 runs to September 2012 and includes two, three year extension options.
